What to Expect
Expect to receive personal attention from both the doctor and staff in a caring and relaxing environment. At New Life Chiropractic we offer healthcare programs for everyone from babies to seniors, athletes and performers.
We offer state-of-the art chiropractic treatment, rehabilitation programs, nutritional counseling and stress reduction tips to help support your healing and get you back to the activities you enjoy.
Upon entering our office you will be greeted by one of our friendly, professional staff that will do whatever they can to make you feel comfortable and welcome. You will be asked to complete a health history form and “pain” sheet, which will assist us in focusing on your particular health concerns. You will then meet Dr. Schagen and begin your private consultation.
After discussing your condition with Dr. Schagen, you will receive a comprehensive
examination, which includes 
orthopedic and neurological testing as well as
a thorough evaluation of your spine & posture. Dr. Schagen will explain
what he is doing each step of the way. Once the exam has been completed,
Dr. Schagen will discuss the exam findings with you and make recommendations
for treatment.
Emphasis is placed on relieving your pain as quickly as possible while correcting your condition. You will learn about the healing process, what caused your condition and how to prevent it from happening again. This information will help you determine how to attain your personal health goals.
If it is determined that your case requires treatment other than chiropractic, Dr. Schagen will refer you to the appropriate health practitioner. We work with practitioners from different disciplines such as acupuncturists, massage therapists, physical trainers, physical therapists and medical doctors.

Simply call our office 413-443-3577 and a knowledgeable professional staff member will be happy to schedule a convenient appointment. Morning, evening and Saturday hours are available. Emergencies are scheduled on the same day and Dr. Schagen can be reached via cell phone after normal business hours.
We are providers for most health insurance plans. We offer a courtesy health benefits verification to help you determine the specific chiropractic coverage of your insurance policy.
We also have many patients that do not have insurance benefits. We keep our fees reasonable and affordable and use flexible treatment plans so that you can get the treatment that you need.
